MVC’s manufacturing facility in Nicholasville, Kentucky, is making significant upgrades to its equipment, processes and energy efficiency with a single goal in mind: Better serving MVC’s expanding variety of customers.

MVC is introducing the eDART System™ to increase injection molding accuracy and flexibility. The eDART System™ is the most powerful process control system on the market today. With flexibility and ease of use at the core of its design, the eDART has been built by molders for molders.

Additionally, MVC Nicholasville is making many other improvements, including:

  • New Central Drying System
  • New 220-ton press
  • New air compressors
  • Brighter and more energy efficiency lighting
  • Implementation of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), an additive manufacturing technology commonly used for modeling, prototyping, and production applications
  • Updating the facility’s iSeries system
  • Diversification of plated products, from truck grilles and mirrors to interior trim products
  • New satin nickel plating processes

MVC’s Nicholasville facility is located in Jessamine County, Ky., just 16 miles from the Lexington-Blue Grass Airport. The facility specializes in molding, painting, chrome plating and assembly of plastic parts.
