Linda Torakis is the majority owner and Manager of MVC Holdings, LLC. In addition, she is the Company's President and heads up the organization’s operations. Prior to becoming one of the founders of MVC Holdings, Linda was Director of Organizational Development at Barton Malow, a large construction company where she worked for 10 years. Prior to that Linda held similar positions with Alexander Hamilton Life Insurance and Household International. In addition, Linda had her own consulting business with numerous clients including Ford Motor Company, Johnson & Johnson and Whirlpool. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

 


 

Mike Torakis

Mike Torakis heads the MVC management team. As one of the founders of MVC Holdings and CEO, he is well qualified to lead the organization because of his 30 years of experience and deep understanding of the domestic and international automotive component supply business. He has a strong reputation and extensive relationships that have been invaluable in growing the company. Mike has a bachelor's degree from Albion College and is a Certified Public Accountant. His prior employers include Key Plastics, Collins & Aikman, Peguform (Germany) and Venture Industries, where he held positions ranging from CFO to CEO. In addition, Mike has been an advisor and consultant to several multi-national financial institutions and private equity firms for a variety of acquisition and turn around projects.

 


 

Jeffrey E. Palazzolo

Jeffrey E. Palazzolo serves as CFO of MVC. He has worked at MVC's Nicholasville, Kentucky facility as well as the company's Roseville, Michigan, headquarters. Before serving as CFO, he was a financial analyst and corporate controller at MVC. He holds a BS degree in Finance from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and is currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan.

 


 

Jim Palazzolo

Jim Palazzolo is MVC’s Director of New Business. Jim has been with MVC since 2013 and held roles as an Account Manager and Program Manager before serving as the Director of New Business for MVC. Jim has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Baker College of Michigan.

Tim has been fully dedicated to improving MVC’s manufacturing processes and introducing new technologies into our company. He has held a variety of similar positions in the automotive supplier industries including Visteon, Magna International, Ficosa, Key Plastics and Venture Industries.

 


 

Randy Sorensen

Randy Sorensen, originally from a small town in Michigan, is our Vice President of Operations and an all-around efficiency nerd. Randy fell in love with the Automotive industry back in 2004 while working for a returnable rack fabrication company that serviced M-Tek, RTI, Honda of Alabama, and others. He started out in estimating before transitioning into a Program Manager role. His final role there was as the Controller. Randy then joined Benteler Automotive in Opelika, AL as a staff accountant and became a student of the manufacturing levers that controlled the financial statements. When the Benteler plant was closed Randy relocated to Kentucky where he began at MVC in April of 2013 as the Financial Analyst before being promoted to Plant Controller. He made the transition into Operations when he took the position of Assembly Operations Manager and oversaw the Assembly, Materials, and Logistics departments while retaining his Plant Controller duties. Randy then became the General Manager overseeing all activities at MVC’s Nicholasville, KY facility before being promoted to his current role. Randy currently oversees all operations at MVC and is most proud of the team that he has assembled. The MVC team brought home the Navistar Diamond Supplier award in 2018 and is looking forward to making a big dent in the Heavy Truck market. Randy has a B.S.B.A. degree with a specialization in Accounting from Auburn University – Montgomery.

 


 

Martin Lamar

Plant Manager, MVC Newberry

Martin Lamar is currently the Plant Manager of our MVC Plant in Newberry, South Carolina. He has been in Injection Molding for over 20 years. He has worked for companies like Toyota Motor Manufacturing of North America, Samsung Electronic Home Appliance, Collins and Aikman and JCIM. He has held positions from Supervision to Plant Manager. He has a strong knowledge of Plastic Process Engineering. Prior to his work in Injection Molding, he utilized his Electronic Degree for companies like Westinghouse and ABB.

 


 

Shaun Raney

Plant Manager, MVC Nicholasville

Shaun Raney, Plant Manager of our Nicholasville (Ky) facility is a native of Kentucky. Manufacturing experience began outside of the automotive industry in the family business of manufacturing fiberglass boats. In 2000 he entered into the automotive industry as a chrome plating technician at MVC. Over the next 12 years Shaun would be begin studying mechanical engineering and moving through the management levels until he was managing the chrome plating operation. In 2015 he transitioned in Quality and program management role, learning the advanced planning activity and process of manufacturing. Interested in the injection molding process, he transitioned form quality to injection molding. Managing the injection molding operation to develop and maintain process to improve overall performance. In mid-2017 he moved into the operations manager for the Nicholasville site continuing to develop the process and procedures to streamline the facilities. The operation manager role transitioned into the Plant manager role extending the streamline processes into all faucets of the plant operation.
